Extra Firm Plain Tofu has a neutral flavour so is ideal to marinate in spices or sauces. The firm texture makes it ideal for quick frying to add texture to dishes. Once opened, keep refrigerated in liquid and use within 48 hours.
Keep chilled below 5°C. Once opened, place in water in an airtight container, use within 48 hours.
Cooking instructions: To fry: Heat 1tbsp of oil in a pan and fry over a hot heat for about 5 minutes, turning frequently until golden brown.
To Bake: Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C Fan, Gas Mark 4). Toss in a little oil and bake on a tray for 20-25 minutes.
